Uche Nnaji Calls for Unity, Sacrifice, and Progress in Eid-el-Kabir Message



The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate in Enugu State, Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, popularly known as Nwakaibie, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Enugu State and across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging citizens to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, faith, and peaceful coexistence.

In a goodwill message contained in his Eid-el-Kabir flyer released on Tuesday, Chief Nnaji described the Islamic festival as a sacred period of reflection and renewed commitment to unity, compassion, and service to humanity.

According to him, “As we celebrate this blessed occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, may the spirit of sacrifice, obedience, and faith bring peace to our hearts, unity to our communities, and progress to our dear Enugu State.”

The PDP governorship candidate further called on residents of the state to use the festive season as an opportunity to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and collectively pursue the development and prosperity of Enugu State.

“Let us use this season to reflect, renew our commitment to one another, and continue to build a brighter and greater Enugu for all,” he stated.

Chief Nnaji’s message comes at a time when political stakeholders and citizens alike continue to emphasize the need for peace, inclusiveness, and people-oriented leadership in the state. His remarks reflected a vision centered on harmony, shared responsibility, and sustainable growth for the people of Enugu State.

The PDP flagbearer concluded his message with prayers and best wishes to the Muslim faithful, saying, “Barka da Sallah! Eid Mubarak!”
