EFCC Declares City Boys Movement Women Leader Wante

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, a women leader of the City Boys Movement, wanted over alleged fraud.

In a notice issued on Monday via X (formerly Twitter), the EFCC stated that Tejuosho is wanted for an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence. The notice was signed by the Commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.

The anti-graft agency called on members of the public with useful information about her whereabouts to report to any EFCC office nationwide or contact security agencies, including the nearest police station, through official communication channels.

Tejuosho was recently appointed as the South-West Zonal Women Leader of the City Boys Movement. According to the group, her role involved providing strategic leadership for women-focused initiatives, including political mobilization, civic engagement, and advocacy within the region.

The development adds to a series of ongoing investigations and enforcement actions by the EFCC targeting alleged financial crimes across the country.
